Apple iPhone 7 and 7 Plus to be available in 3,000 retail stores across India starting October 7th

"The iPhone 7 and 7 Plus will reportedly go on sale in India at 7 pm on October 7th, not the midnight itself"

Soon after unveiling the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus, Apple revealed that the new iPhones would go on sale in India on October 7th at a starting price of Rs 60,000. Now Redington India, Apple's distribution partner in India, has announced that it will be selling the iPhone 7 duo through 3,000 retail stores across the country starting October 7th. Apple's other distribution partners including Beetel Teletech Ltd and Rashi Peripherals too have announced that they will start selling the latest iPhones on the same day.

According to Times of India, Beetel Teletech Ltd has announced that the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus will be available at 2,000 of its stores across the country at 7 pm on October 7th. Since past few years, the new iPhones have traditionally been launched in the country at midnight. However, it won't be the case this time around.

So, if you want to be one of the first ones to own an iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus in India, then expect to start queuing up in front of the stores during the day. The new iPhones will be available in 32GB, 128GB and 256GB variants, with the base model to be priced at Rs 60,000.

As per our sources, the latest iPhones could be available for pre-order online exclusively on Infibeam. The new iPhones should be available on other online retailers after the launch though.
