Niantic rebalances Pokemon Go; changes gym battles
Pokemon Go developer, Niantic rebalances the entire game; introduces a new version.
The Pokemon Go community noticed something different about the game recently. They observed how every single attack for every single Pokemon had changed and how previously powerful Pokemons like Vaporean do less damage and weaker ones like Parasect do more damage. Moreover, quick attacks are now weaker and charge attacks are way stronger.

There are many other changes that were implemented to the game including the total elimination of the ‘footprint’ feature that lets players see how far wild Pokemon are from their location. Here is a list of all the changes that have taken place:
- Avatars can now be re-customized from the Trainer profile screen, itself.
- Refined gym animations.
- Improved memory issues.
- Updated Pokemon details screen.
- Updated achievement medal images.
- Issues with displaying map features fixed.
The new version has already been rolled out on Android phones.
